Leeds United vs Nottingham Forest chosen for first TV game as Cardiff City and Swansea City Championship matches moved

The English Football League have announced the first block of televised fixtures for the 2019/20 Championship season.

Cardiff City have had two of their fixtures in the opening month of the upcoming campaign changed to be shown on TV while Swansea City have also had one alteration.

The Bluebirds' clash with Reading at the Madejski Stadium will now take place at midday on Sunday, August 18, while their fixture against Fulham at Cardiff City Stadium will kick off at 7:45pm on Friday, August 30.

As for the Swans, their home fixture against Birmingham City will now get under way at 12pm on Sunday, August 25.

Swansea begin life under Steve Cooper against Hull City at the Liberty Stadium on August 3, with Cardiff travelling to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic on the same day.

A total of 10 Championship fixtures in August have been moved to be shown live on Sky Sports, with Sunderland's League One encounter with Portsmouth also being switched.

Among the second tier switches are Leeds United's clash with Nottingham Forest which will now kick-off at 12:30pm on Sunday, August 10.

Sunday 25 August - Swansea City v Birmingham - 12.00pm

Friday 30 August - Cardiff City v Fulham - 19.45pm

Saturday 31 August - Bristol City v Middlesbrough - 12.30pm
