Leeds United vs Everton prediction: Calvert-Lewin can continue Rafa Benitez's fine start

Everton will be anticipating the inevitable as they travel to Leeds United who are still healing from an absolute battering at Old Trafford last weekend.

The Toffees are 41/20 with Grosvenor Sport to pick their second win on the bounce under Rafa Benitez while Leeds are the favourites at 27/20 while a draw is 5/2.

Life under Benitez does not seem as bad as what it first seem judging by the welcome he received at Goodison Park before a convincing win against Southampton.

Meanwhile, Marcelo Bielsa would have taken Murderball to a whole new level this week while picking up the pieces from their 5-1 drubbing against rivals Man United.

It is hardly the ideal start for Bielsa's side but Benitez will know they will be ready to strike first when they meet at Elland Road.

The added notion this will the first time Elland Road will packed out with fans in a Premier League match since 2004 will definitely add something special to this match.

Tips

  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score anytime - 29/20
  • Under 2.5 goals - 59/50

They have not lost both their opening two games since 1980-81 where they lost to Manchester United on the opening weekend too.

H2H

This will be the 117th meeting between the two sides - Leeds have won 52 times, Everton 33 and a draw 31.

Only three times has the match ended with both sides finding the net in their last eight meetings.
