Leeds United v Man Utd friendly kick-off time will not mean a late night for UK fans

The kick-off time has been confirmed for the friendly between Leeds United and Manchester United, which forms part of the pre-season tour to Australia.

The Whites first team will travel to Australia in the build up to the club's centenary year, taking on Manchester United in Perth and Western Sydney Warriors at the brand new Western Sydney Stadium, the first time the Wanderers have played at the new 30,000 capacity stadium.

It has been confirmed United will kick off against the Red Devils at the 60,000-seater Optus Stadium in Perth at noon UK time (7pm local time) on Wednesday, July 17.

It will be the first time the two clubs have played each other since 2011 when Manchester United emerged 3-0 victors in a Carabao Cup clash at Elland Road.

The kick-off time is confirmed on the Manchester club's official website.
