Leeds United (4-1-4-1)
1 Illan Meslier - seven
One of the few players on the United side to contribute to the result. Made several good stops, some of which you wish he had held on to. Did take an almighty whack to the head when he used his bonce to save one powerful effort.

2 Josh Galloway - six
Our first glimpse since his move from Carlisle United. Very keen to get forward and spent plenty of time further up the field than winger Niall Huggins.
6 Olly Casey - seven
Played a big part in the clean sheet. Good in the air and on the deck. Easy to see why Marcelo Bielsa namechecked him as a possible Liam Cooper replacement yesterday.

5 Charlie Cresswell - seven
As with his central partner, very good in the air and on the deck. Nothing fazed him on the night and his move up from the under-18s looks to be going swimmingly.

3 Theo Hudson - six
Deserves credit for keeping a clean sheet, but while he picked up great positions on the attack, he was so wasteful with the final pass or shot. Frustrating for those around him in the final third.

4 Alfie McCalmont © - six
Looking more and more like he is a cut above this level now. Very calm and unflustered throughout. Nothing too special though.
7 Niall Huggins - five
Not enough from him in the final third around the box.

8 Jack Jenkins - six
Some good bursts from deep, but no huge say on the flow of the game. Got stuck in with his tackles.

10 Mateusz Bogusz - six
If anyone was going to break the deadlock it would have been the Pole. As happy as ever to shoot from anywhere on the park, perhaps to his detriment at times.

11 Stuart McKinstry - five
Some good flashes with crosses in the first half, but did not terrorise the right-back.
9 Ryan Edmondson - five
Fed on scraps all night. Excellent hold-up play which triggered the counter which led to the Birmingham City red card.
