Leeds United's under-23s have completed their Premier League 2 Division Two title-winning season with another emphatic victory as they overcame Burnley 5-2 at Thorp Arch.
Sam Greenwood led the way with a second-half brace of penalties which saw him overtake Joe Gelhardt in the race to finish as Leeds' top goalscorer for the campaign with 12 goals.
The win means that Mark Jackson's side finish their campaign with 18 wins from the 24 matches this term, with their lead over second-place Stoke currently at 13 points, with the Potter still having two matches to play.
Leeds' record signing Rodrigo was able to get another 45 minutes under his belt after playing the first half as he steps up his return from injury following his 30-minute outing for Marcelo Bielsa's first-team at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
The Spaniard was replaced at the break with Leeds winning 1-0 thanks to Cody Drameh's first goal of the campaign, with the defending slotting home a pass from the former Valencia man on 22 minutes.
Mark Jackson made a triple change at the break, with Leif Davis and Gaetano Berardi also making way as Jamie Shackleton, Crysencio Summerville and Stuart McKinstry came on.
Niall Huggins doubled the hosts' advantage five minutes after the break when Niall Huggins headed home a Summerville cross.
Burnley, who came into the game eyeing a play-off spot, pulled a goal back on 57 minutes through Anthony Gomez, but Leeds' two-goal cushion was restored ten minutes later, when Sam Greenwood fired home from the penalty spot after Summerville was brought down.
A Max Thompson goal from a corner on 70 minutes pulled the score back to 3-2, but the goals continued to flow, with Summerville getting his name on the scoresheet five minutes later when he clipped the ball over the goalkeeper after latching onto a Shackleton pass.
A fifth followed immediately afterward, when Greenwood netted his second penalty to see him move ahead of Joe Gelhardt as his side's leading goalscorer this term, with 12 goals for the season.
Leeds sealed the Premier League 2 Division Two title last month after a brilliant first season in the competition following the academy's promotion to a category one status last summer.
The title win means that Leeds' under-23s will take part in the first tier of the Premier League 2 next season and will be up against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and the Manchester sides.
