Leeds pass on Ayala

Leeds United have turned down the chance to sign former Middlesbrough defender Daniel Ayala.

The Spaniard has now left The Riverside after failing to agree a new contract, his deal officially coming to an end at the end of this month.

But Leeds have decided against signing the 29-year-old.

Palace still interested in Ferguson

West Brom youngster Nathan Ferguson could be headed to Selhurst Park this summer.

Ferguson has turned down a new contract at The Hawthorns and Roy Hodgson has confirmed Crystal Palace will pursue a move this summer.

“Nathan is one of the players we were keen to bring in in January and it didn’t work out due to the injuries," he said. "He is still very much on our radar.

“Nathan has great potential and has the sort of qualities that we are looking for and that is why we tried to sign him.”

Madrid duo chase Fulham midfielder

Two La Liga clubs are chasing Fulham midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa ahead of the summer transfer window.

The midfielder, who arrived for €25m last summer, has been on loan at Villarreal this season, impressing as the Yellows chase a European spot.

And his form has seen him attract interest from Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, according to La Razon .

Atletico Madrid are said to be lining up options to replace Thomas Partey should the Ghanaian leave this summer.

Villarreal could also attempt to make Anguissa's move permanent having been pleased with his loan spell this season.
