Leeds United transfers rumours as Leeds linked Brazilian rules out move

Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Friday, December 3.

29-year-old Brazilian rules out Leeds move

According to reports in France, Victor Orta has been tracking Nantes' centre back Andrei Girroto since before the Whites were promoted back to the Premier League and he was under consideration to be signed to replace Ben White, before Leeds signed Robin Koch and Diego Llorente.

It is claimed that Leeds still have an interest in the defender and he was asked how he would feel about moving to Elland Road, to which Girotto replied :

"I want to stay a little while here. I feel very good here.

"I’m very happy and very proud to be in my fifth season at Nantes. I have never stayed so long at one club.

"I live well in Nantes, where I hope to complete my contract."

£60m price tag 'too pricey' for Liverpool: Campbell

Ex-Everton striker Kevin Campbell has claimed that Leeds' asking price for their star man, Raphinha would be too high for Liverpool.

Earlier in the week, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano had gone on record saying that Leeds wanted £60m for the Brazilian and Campbell said to Football Insider :

"That probably makes a deal too pricey for Liverpool right now. I’m sure there will be other takers at £60million though.

“Raphinha knows the Premier League well and he is performing week in, week out. He would be an amazing signing for somebody if they can stump up the money.”

Romano had been speaking on Rio Ferdinand's 'Five' Youtube show.
