The January transfer window is only a month away and the rumour mill is starting to hot up.
Victor Orta has gone on the record to say he is not expecting a busy month when the window opens, but behind the scenes the club will be preparing for all potential eventualities.
As ever, plenty of names are flying around in the gossip columns, so here is a look at the players who have been linked with a potential move to Elland Road so far...
Matej Vydra
Former Leeds United transfer target Matej Vydra has been linked with a potential January move to Leeds United. The Burnley forward was heavily linked with move to Leeds ahead of the 2018/19 season after winning the golden boot for Derby County before opting for Turf Moor in an £11m move.
The switch hasn't worked out for the Czech Republic international and manager Sean Dyche is rumoured to be willing to let him go for a reduced fee in January.
Daniel Ayala
Veteran defender Daniel Ayala will be out of contract at Middlesbrough in the summer and has been heavily linked with a move away from the Riverside Stadium.
Leeds United are one of the clubs linked with the Spanish centre half along with Stoke and Fulham.
Glen Kamara
A Leeds United scout has reportedly been watching Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara.
The Finnish international, who moved to Ibrox for just £50,000 last January, has already attracted interest from Aston Villa.
However if Leeds are interested in Kamara it looks more likely that he would join the club in the summer as loan signings look more likely than permanent signings in the January window.
David Stockdale
It's the rumour that just won't go away. If the transfer window is on the horizon, it must be time for David Stockdale to be linked with a move to Leeds United .
January will mark one year since Leeds United signed Kiko Casilla but with the Spaniard facing a potential ban for racial abuse and inexperienced Illan Meslier the current deputy, the club may be looking for other options. Leeds-born Stockdale would seem to fit the bill and is out of favour at St Andrews.
Nahitan Nandez
Leeds United were linked with a move for Uruguayan midfielder Nahitan Nandez ahead of the summer transfer window but Nandez instead made the transfer from Boca Juniors to Cagliari.
Reports from Italty claim that Leeds United have renewed their interest in the midfielder although they will face stiff competition from clubs including PSG, Napoli and AC Milan.
