Leeds United transfer rumours: Whites make Noa Lang demand as 'target' handed £12.8m price tag

Leeds United players are preparing for the summer transfer window after rounding off their Premier League campaign.

Attentions now turn to the transfer window as Marcelo Bielsa looks to bolster his squad to improve next season.

Director of football Victor Orta has insisted he's hopeful the club will have concluded all of their transfer business in June, in time for a full pre-season.

A host of players have been linked as potential arrivals at Elland Road, with the rumour mill already swirling ahead of the Euros.

With that in mind, LeedsLive has rounded up the latest gossip filling the back pages.

Leeds linked with Brekalo

Leeds United want to sign Wolfsburg winger Josip Brekalo in the summer transfer window, according to Bild.

The Whites have been linked with the Croatian winger previously but a deal never materialised.

Now, German outlet Bild claim the Bundesliga side are looking for £12.8million with Leeds and Everton said to be circling.

Brekalo has scored 11 goals and registered five assists last season, including an impressive hat-trick against Union Berlin.

Lang update

Leeds United have opened discussions to sign Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, according to an update in Belgium.

Voetbalkrant claim the Whites have made an offer and have set Club Brugge a deadline to respond as they bid to wrap up their transfer business.

The Daily Mail previously reported that talks had been opened with Leeds and Brugges.

Dortmund chased Koch

Leeds United director Victor Orta has revealed Borussia Dortmund tried to sign Robin Koch before the Whites.

The German international signed from SC Freiburg last summer but has been restricted to 13 Premier League starts due to injury.

Orta has now revealed Koch had an offer from Dortmund but opted to move to Elland Road.

“Robin Koch in Germany, 200 scouts were watching him. Borussia Dortmund made an offer one week before he arrived here,” he told The Phil Hay Show.
