Leeds United transfer rumours: Whites linked with €36m deal as Matheus Cunha price tag revealed

Leeds United players are preparing for the summer transfer window after rounding off their Premier League campaign.

Supporters were admitted back into Elland Road for the first time since promotion as the Whites finished the season with a 3-1 victory over West Brom, securing a ninth-place finish.

Attentions now turn to the transfer window as Marcelo Bielsa looks to bolster his squad to improve next season.

A host of players have been linked as potential arrivals at Elland Road, with the rumour mill already swirling ahead of the Euros.

With that in mind, LeedsLive has rounded up the latest gossip filling the back pages.

Leeds linked with €36m Nandez

Leeds United have been linked with Uruguayan midfielder Nahitan Nandez.

The Cagliari star has been previous touted for a move to Elland Road and Calciomercato has claimed that the Whites are leading the race to secure his services.

Roma were reportedly also in the running for Nandez but their interest has waned leaving Leeds in pole position to sign him, the report states.

The player is reportedly valued at €36million, but it's stated that Cagliari may be willing to sell for less despite him having a release clause in his contract.

Cunha fee outlined

Leeds United have been boosted in their pursuit of Hertha Berlin forward Matheus Cunha, according to reports.

The Whites have been linked with a deal to sign the Brazilian, though a deal would be difficult to pull off.

Bild reveals that Hertha want a fee of €40million but the latest report claims Leeds are determined to sign Cunha regardless.

Leeds have reportedly made their interest known and are aiming to beat off competition from Monaco, Atalanta and Napoli.

Leeds confirm Alioski offer

Leeds United have confirmed their retained list for next season, with Ezgjan Alioski offered a new contract.

The Whites left-back is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a move away from the club.

However, Leeds have announced they have offered the defender a new contract, though Barry Douglas and 13 other professional players will leave the club.
