Leeds United’s 2019/20 season concluded last week and they will be playing Premier League football for the first time in 16 years from September.
Being back in English football's top-tier could be key in getting a number of deals over the line this summer.
In the last 48 hours alone, Leeds United have been linked with moves for the likes of Jonathan David, Eberechi Eze, Harry Wilson, Vasilios Barkas as well as a permanent deal for Ben White.
With this mind, here are the latest Leeds transfer rumours doing the rounds.
White heartbreak
Leeds' hopes of keeping Brighton and Hove Albion loanee Ben White look to be fading - but the centre-back could yet be on the move this summer.
According to The Sun, Leeds remain desperate to land the 22-year old on a permanent deal this summer, but Brighton are believed to be reluctant to sell to a team that could well be near them in the Premier League table next season.
However, reports now suggest that a mega-money offer from one of the Premier League’s big boys could yet tempt Albion into a sale, particularly in light of the financial effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Luis talks
Leeds held talks with the agent of £25 million-rated Benfica midfielder Florentino Luis last week.
Tuttomercatoweb are reporting that the Premier League newcomers are looking to beat AC Milan to his signature this summer.
The report also adds that clubs in Spain and Italy eyeing a Portuguese play-maker with a £110 million release clause.
Joorabchian transfer prediction
Leading football agent Kia Joorabchian believes Leeds fans have a lot to look forward to under the stewardship of Andrea Radrizzani and Marcelo Bielsa.
Just last week, Radrizzani refused to rule out the possibility of signing Edinson Cavani, who is a free agent following his release at Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
And Joorabchian believes Radrizzani has the sort of contacts that could see the 33-year-old move to Elland Road this summer.
He told talkSPORT: “The Leeds owner has very good links in Italy and with a couple of the guys that work closely with Cavani. If anyone was to pull something like that off, they could.
“Bielsa is so highly regarded, he was one of the teachers of Tevez. For many, many years I followed him and Leeds fans have a lot to look forward to with those guys at the helm. They’re football people.”
