Leeds rebuffed by Real youngster
Arsenal and Leeds have both failed with approaches to sign highly-rated Real Madrid youngster Cesar Gelabert.
AG Deportes claim the Premier League duo both expressed an interest in signing the attacking midfielder, but neither the player nor club were interested in a move away.
The report from AG Deportes says that ‘many opportunities’ were presented to Gelabert this summer, with Leeds and Arsenal both keen to establish whether the youngster would be available on a permanent transfer.
West Ham bid for Leeds target
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, West Ham United have made move to bring Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani to the London Stadium on a season-long loan.
The Hammers have submitted an offer to the Serie A giants, including an option to buy in their bid, but Juventus only want to sell him and are asking for £16.5 million.
Leeds United and Newcastle United have also been linked with Rugani but have since Diego Llorente.
