Leeds United transfer rumours: Tomori demands revealed, Olise claim made, Pulgar blow

With the January transfer window now in full swing, Marcelo Bielsa and Victor Orta could be looking at areas they can strengthen in their Leeds United squad.

The Whites' first half of the Premier League season must be considered a success following their return to the top-flight for the first time in 16 years. Bielsa's team are sitting in mid-table and have entertained supporters from all over the country with their risk-taking and attacking football.

However, the Argentine coach will be well aware that there is still plenty of room for improvement, and this month could prove to be a great opportunity to add to his squad.

In light of this, here is a round-up of the very latest Leeds transfer rumours and stories.

Tomori demands January move

Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is demanding a January move due to a lack of game time, amid links with Leeds.

That's according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo via the Daily Star, who are saying that the reported Whites target is desperate to leave Stamford Bridge on loan this month.

Tomori has played just 45 minutes of Premier League football under Frank Lampard this term, despite his impressive breakthrough into the side last season.

However, despite contrasting reports, The Athletic claim that Leeds are not interested in signing the 23-year-old centre-back this month.

Olise meets profile

Reading starlet Michael Olise meets the profile of what Leeds are looking for in the transfer market, according to The Athletic.

Olise has been linked with a move to Elland Road in recent months - following the Frenchman's fine form for Reading in the Championship.

The Athletic claim that the 19-year-old is the 'sort of player that Leeds will be looking at'. The teenage sensation has caught the eye for the Royals this term, with four goals and eight assists in 22 Championship outings.

Fiorentina stance on Pulgar

Leeds have been linked with a move for Fiorentina midfielder Erick Pulgar recently, and the Italian club's stance has now been revealed.

The Serie A outfit do not want to sell Pulgar, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, per HITC.

The 26-year-old is also a target for Cagliari, Di Marzio claims, but Fiorentina currently have no intention of getting rid of the Chilean defensive midfielder.

Pulgar has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with the Italian outfit, who are in a strong position on that front. Leeds have been linked with plenty of midfielders over recent months, including fellow Serie A star Rodrigo De Paul of Udinese.
