The January transfer window is fast approaching.
It is only just over a month since the summer window shut but the extended deadline means a quick turnaround until clubs once again are given the chance to sign players.
It means Leeds United fans do not have long to wait to see who the Whites opt to target in the January market.
With that in mind, here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours.
Gerrard eyed
Football Insider report that Leeds are monitoring Steven Gerrard's progress as Rangers boss.
Marcelo Bielsa's preference for signing one-year contracts mean that the Whites are regularly keeping tabs on potential alternatives to the Argentine.
They have now identified Gerrard as a potential replacement to Bielsa should they need one.
Gerrard has previously been linked to Elland Road on the last two occasions that Bielsa's contract was due to expire.
Conor Gallagher wanted
The Sun ( via the Sunderland Echo ) claim Leeds United face a three-way battle to sign Conor Gallagher on loan in January.
Chelsea midfielder Gallagher is currently impressing in the Premier League with West Brom and was linked with Elland Road in the summer.
Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have also been linked with the 20-year-old.
Whilst it seems unlikely his loan at the Hawthorns will be cut short, Chelsea last season recalled him from a stint at Charlton Athletic to send him on loan to Swansea City, so may opt to do similar in January.
Barca midfielder linked
Spanish outlet Sport claim that it is not just Gallagher that Leeds are looking at in midfield.
The Whites have also been linked with a move for Barcelona midfielder Martin Braithwaite, who is surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp.
Danish international Braithwaite moved to Barca in February, just over six months after joining Leganes from Middlesbrough.
The Catalan club were granted an emergency exception to sign him outside the transfer window following a long-term injury to Ousmane Dembele.
Yet he has been underwhelming at the Nou Camp and could be available in January.
West Ham and West Brom have also been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old, who struggled during his time in England with Championship side Boro.
