It seems like the summer has only just ended but the January transfer window will soon be upon us, giving Leeds United the chance to once again improve their squad.
Some impressive recruits were brought in during the off season as Marcelo Bielsa looked to prepare his squad for the rigours of Premier League football, asRodrigo, Raphinha, Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Joe Gehardt were brought in, as well as loan Helder Costa and Illan Messier's loan moves being made permanent.
With Leeds currently down in 15th place, the club may look to further strengthen the squad to ensure they remain in the top flight.
Here's the latest transfer rumours:
Draxler in demand
The one position the Whites weren't able to strengthen like they wanted to in the summer was centre-midfield, after being unable to bring in Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul.
Another ambitious move they were linked with was Paris Saint-Germain's Julian Draxler, who is out of favour at Les Parc de Princes.
The move obviously didn't come to fruition but Leeds have been continued to be linked with the German, though they could face some stiff competition for him in January.
According to CalcioMercato, both Sevilla and Hertha Berlin are also interested in Draxler.
Kent could be looking for a move
Kevin Phillips believes that Rangers winger Ryan Kent will have his eyes on a big money transfer after swapping his agents.
Leeds have been repeatedly linked with a move for the speedy winger and the door could have opened for them to make a move.
“Definitely. We have seen it with players swapping agents before. There is a reason when a player swaps an agent," he told FootballInsider when asked if Kent will be looking for a move.
"I am still with the same agent I was when I first started the game so the only reason you would swap agents is if you are not happy with them.
“If they are not doing what you ask them to do which could potentially be that he wanted to move in the summer.
“I am only second-guessing but there is never smoke without fire. There is always a reason a player changes agent so it would not surprise me if something was to materialise in the January window at Leeds or somewhere else.
“It will be interesting to see how that one unfolds.”
De Paul could play for anyone
Rodrigo De Paul is good enough to play for any team in the world, according to his former manager Julio Velazquez.
Leeds were heavily linked with the Argentine in the summer and could make another move for him in January. It sounds like they'll be getting a highly thought of player if they sign him.
“He comes from a difficult season, but from day one I told him that I considered him a top player and that he could become an international player as it actually happened.” Velazquez told Gazetta Dello Sport, via TuttoMercatoWeb.
“His strength is intelligence on and off the pitch. On the pitch he knows best what space to occupy and how to do it. On an extra level, however, he understood how Udinese would have been the best place for him to grow.
“He lacks absolutely nothing, he could play in any club in the world. He has also improved on the defensive level and in attack he improves the team.”
