It’s perhaps the biggest summer in recent Leeds United history, as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
The last time that the Whites were in the top-flight, it was called the Premiership, that’s how long it’s been.
Now, under the tutelage of Marcelo Bielsa, they built a team that won the Championship in explosive fashion, but they are aware that they may need to strengthen their squad in order to maintain Premier League football.
With that being said, we’re taking a look at the very latest Leeds-related transfer rumours from around the world.
De Paul boost
Udinese stepped up their preparations for the start of the new season on Thursday evening, facing Legano in a friendly.
However, there was no place for Rodrigo De Paul in the squad, suggesting that he could soon be on his way out of the Serie A club.
Leeds are keen to secure his signature and this, potentially, could be the biggest hint yet that he could soon be on his way.
Bryan blow
Leeds United have suffered a setback in their reported pursuit of Joe Bryan after he reportedly opened talks with Fulham over a new contract.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Fulham are in negotiations with Bryan over a new and improved deal to prevent him leaving in this window.
The same publication recently reported that West Brom, Newcastle United and Leicester City are also interested in Bryan.
Summerville linked
Leeds United are believed to be eyeing 18-year-old Feyenoord forward Crysencio Summerville.
AD journalist Mikos Gouka posted an update on his Twitter account that said Summerville was being allowed to leave this summer.
His tweet read: ““Crysencio Summerville can go to Leeds United. The attacker is allowed to leave Feyenoord and the English club from the Premier League is negotiating with Feyenoord about the transfer fee for the 18-year-old player.”
