Leeds United transfer rumours: Rafinha talks held, Josko Gvardiol fee agreed

Leeds United will play their first Premier League match in 16 years on Saturday, as they travel to last season’s champions Liverpool.

It’s been a busy summer so far for Marcelo Bielsa and the club’s hierarchy, as they look to build a squad capable of competing in the top-flight.

The Whites have already signed seven players - some new and some being loan deals that have now turned permanent.

It looks like Bielsa is still searching for a few more players before the window shuts in a months’ time, and with that being said, here is the latest batch of transfer rumours on Leeds.

Rafinha talks blow

Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Leeds United have been offered Barcelona's Rafinha.

Barcelona want around £14 million for the Brazilian international midfielder but Leeds 'can not financially manage’ signing Rafinha, according to the report.

Rafinha spent last season on loan at Celta Vigo and the Spanish side want the 27-year-old midfielder.

Leeds United transfer 'agreement'

Leeds United have reached an agreement to sign Josko Gvardiol from Dinamo Zagreb.

The report states that a fee has been agreed, with Rodrigo de Paul next to be confirmed.

The 18-year-old will sign a five-year contract in a move worth £17.8 million, joining Robin Koch as Leeds' second defensive signing this summer.

Midfielder targeted

Leeds United and Wolves are among five teams interested in Willem II midfielder Mike Tresor Ndayishimiye, according to reports.

Ndayishimiye only joined Willem II on a permanent basis this summer after a positive loan spell from NIC Nijmegen.

However, he could soon be on the move again, as a number of clubs have become aware of his potential.

According to Het Laatste Nieuws in the player’s native Belgium, five clubs are circling.

Premier League pair Leeds and Wolves are two of the interested parties.
