Leeds United are on the eve of their first Premier League match in 16 years and it's fair to say excitement amongst the supporters is overflowing.
The Whites have been extremely active in the market this summer, signing the likes of Rodrigo and Robin Koch as well as a number of highly-rated young talents.
Further business is on the cards though, with just under a month remaining in the transfer window and plenty of names have been linked with a move to Elland Road.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding the Whites.
Favourites for Rafinha
Leeds United have been placed as the 'maximum favourite' to sign Barcelona midfielder Rafinha.
According to reports in Spain via Sport Witness, a return to Celta Vigo is unlikely because the Whites have an offer on the table for the player.
Rafinha has spent the last two years on loan with Celta but they cannot afford the €16m fee it would cost to sign him permanently.
Leeds are therefore reported as an option, with it stated he is ready to make the move to Yorkshire.
Harry Wilson developments
Leeds United will make progress in their push to sign Harry Wilson from Liverpool after this weekend's match, the BBC states.
The Whites begin their Premier League season tomorrow at Anfield and there is 'no chance' of a deal being agreed before then.
However, an agreement could be reached next week with a fee of around £15m mentioned with the Reds said to be open to a permanent sale.
Leeds have held interest in Wilson previously and he proved his credentials in the top-flight last season during his spell on loan with Bournemouth.
Berardi set for Leeds stay
Gaetano Berardi has stated that he will stay with Leeds United and will sign a new deal with the Whites when he recovers from injury.
The 32-year-old saw his deal with the Whites expire at the end of the season and, currently recovering from a cruciate injury in Switzerland, he's yet to return to Elland Road - but has stated that is on the cards.
"I go walking a lot but it’s going well, even if it will be a long recovery. At the end of September I should go back to England to define everything and still stay at Leeds," he told Swiss outlet RSI.
“We deserved the promotion and we hope to stay up in the Premier League too. I think the team is well equipped and we will have the opportunity to show our qualities.”
