We are halfway through the January transfer window and Leeds United have conducted very little business.
The club said prior to the window that they expected it to be a quiet period after spending almost £100million in the summer - and so it has proved.
Despite the lack of business thus far, the transfer rumour mill continues to churn and Leeds have been linked with a myriad of players in England and across the continent.
We have an update on how an Arsenal player can impact Leeds' reported interest. We also have an update on the links to a Barcelona striker.
Here is a round-up of the latest Leeds United transfer rumours.
Lucas Torreira's Erick Pulgar impact
Arsenal's Lucas Torreira is reportedly set to have an impact on Leeds' apparent interest in Fiorentina midfielder Erick Pulgar.
Leeds have been linked with a move for Pulgar in recent weeks, with Corriere dello Sport claiming that he is being considered by Premier League clubs.
However, La Nazione via Sport Witness now report that Fiorentina would only be willing to let Pulgar leave if they can sign Torreira from Arsenal.
Torreira is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid but has only made two league starts all season and has been left on the bench in four of the last five La Liga contests.
Arsenal could recall Torreira amid concerns regarding his game time and either choose to loan him out again or sell him permanently, with Fiorentina said to be interested. This, it is reported, would free up space for Pulgar to move to Leeds.
Jay-Roy Grot update
Jay-Roy Grot could reportedly leave Leeds before his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old is not a part of Marcelo Bielsa's plans at Elland Road, having been seemingly exiled from the first-team set-up and is widely expected to depart when his deal runs out in the summer.
However, Dutch outlet Algemeen Dagblad report, via Sport Witness, that Grot could be allowed to leave Leeds this month if the club agrees to terminate his contract six months early.
The report claims that ADO Den Haag are interested in Grot, but they would only sign the young striker on a free transfer, which would require Leeds to agree to terminate Grot's contract.
Martin Braithwaite blow
Leeds have suffered a Martin Braithwaite blow as the Barcelona striker has told Marca that he is eager to remain with the Catalan giants.
Leeds had been linked with a move for the 29-year-old in recent months, but Braithwaite insists that he wants to remain at Camp Nou.
"I like that the club is looking for other players in the market. It is meant to be like that in a team like Barcelona, which aims to have the best players in the world," he said.
"You need to have internal competition. It does not frighten me, it motivates me. You need the best players in order to motivate everyone.
"Next season, I will continue fighting for my goals. This season, we have the possibility to win many titles. This is my aim and I’m not thinking about anything else. This is the reason why I wake up every day and work so hard."
