Leeds United fans are counting down the days until their long-awaited Premier League return, as they eagerly prepare themselves for top-flight football.
Marcelo Bielsa has already started to assemble his squad for the 2020/21 season, making a number of signings to improve his squad.
Plenty of further additions are also on the cards and a host of names have been linked with a move to Elland Road before the window closes on October 5.
Here we have gathered some of the latest stories circulating around Elland Road.
Juventus chase Leeds target
Juventus are preparing to offer two players in exchange for Leeds United target Alessandro Florenzi.
The Roma right-back has fallen out of favour under head coach Paulo Fonseca, spending the second half of last season on loan at Valencia.
The Whites have been linked with a move for Florenzi but according to Il Romanista, the Italian champions are also keen.
The report states they will offer Daniele Rugani and Cristian Romero for Florenzi.
Leeds handed Benrahma boost
As Marcelo Bielsa looks to add quality to his squad ahead of their first campaign in the Premier League in 16 years, Brentford attacker Said Benrahma has consistently been linked with a summer move to Elland Road.
Benrahma has been one of the most heavily linked targets this summer, and now it seems as though Brentford are preparing for life without their creative star.
Swedish outlet Expressen report that talks between Brentford and Amiens are ongoing regarding a deal for Saman Ghoddos.
The Algerian international could feasibly replace Benrahma in the Bees' system, allowing for Benrahma to make his way to Elland Road.
Gonzelez interest
Leeds United have expressed an interest in signing Stuttgart striker Nicolas Gonzalez.
Gonzalez scored 14 goals across 16 appearances in the German second tier during 2019/20, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side keen to bolster their forward options with another attacker to compete with Patrick Bamford.
The Guardian report that both Leeds and Brighton have expressed an interest in the player, who is expected to cost around £15m.
They add that Leeds are keen to get their man after missing out on Jonathan David from Gent last week, and the club are said to have £50m to spend during the summer window.
