Costa caught in travel nightmare
Helder Costa is currently on loan with Valencia from Leeds and is not having the best of times to say the least.
He has barely featured for Jose Bordalas' side and failed to make his mark when he has taken the field. Now, things are even messier for the 27-year-old winger.
The international break was supposed to offer the Angolan star a chance to refresh but instead, El Desmarque per Sport Witness say that Costa was a surprise part of Valencia training after Covid-19 issues led to a travel problem.
Costa had flown to link up with Angola but during a stop-over in Germany he learned the pilot of his plane had tested positive for Covid-19.
Leeds in midfielder discussions
Leeds missed out on the signing of Conor Gallagher in the summer when he joined Crystal Palace on loan from Chelsea.
Lewis O'Brien was also linked with transfer interest before he stayed at Huddersfield Town.
Now Paddy Kenny has told Football Insider that he believes the Whites will be trying to sign a playmaker in the January transfer window.
“I’m sure they are already looking to sign people in the January window. You have to start doing your business early," he said. “I think a midfielder, someone who can play that role at the base of midfield, will be a top priority."
