Leeds United transfer rumours: Fresh Matheus Cunha price tag as £23m striker's agent speaks out

Leeds United continue to plough forward with their summer transfer plans behind the scenes at Elland Road

The Whites are optimistic about acquiring all their summer acquisitions by the end of June, as per director of football Victor Orta, who insisted they're on track to have all their signings through the door for pre-season.

That proactive approach in the market means there could be incomings very shortly to bolster Marcelo Bielsa 's squad for next season.

With the transfer rumour mill swirling, plenty of names are being touted with a move to Elland Road.

LeedsLive have collated the most recent Leeds United transfer rumours from across Europe.

Leeds given Cunha price tag

Leeds United will have to shell out €40 million to sign Matheus Cunha this summer, according to the latest reports.

According to Berliner Kurier, the Brazilian is likely to cost around £34.5million this summer and the likes of Napoli, Monaco and Atalanta are keen on signing the player as well.

Leeds are yet to make a move for Cunha, who is tied down to a contract until 2025 with Hertha Berlin.

£23m star 'ready for Premier League'

Leeds United target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is “ready for the Premier League” and expected to leave Russian outfit Rubin Kazan, according to his agent.

The Whites have been linked with a move for the 20-year-old Georgia and he will now leave Russia in the summer.

“I see (Khvicha) is a footballer ready for the English Premier League. He has a high potential to develop in the Premier League,” his agent Sandor Varga, said.

I know Rubin will be ready to let the player go if they receive a solid offer.

“But the team has made it to the European Cup for the first time in many years. Why not win it along with Khvicha and play in the Champions League or Europa League next year?”

Leeds scout centre-back

Leeds United have been scouting Scotland international centre-back Jack Hendry, according to reports.

90min claim the Celtic defender is being tracked by Burnley, Newcastle United, West Brom and Sheffield United, as well as the Whites.

Oostende have activated an option to buy Hendry for around £2million and he has put pen to paper on a contract over the weekend.

However, he will be sold on for further profit, with Leeds keeping a close eye on developments.
