For Leeds United supporters, it’s a very exciting time as the club prepares for its first season back in the Premier League.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men are preparing for a trip to league champions Liverpool next weekend and they will be looking to secure some more signings before the game at Anfield.
The Whites have been very busy so far this summer - completing deals for Rodrigo, Helder Costa, Robin Koch, Illan Meslier, Joe Gelhardt, Cody Drameh and Jack Harrison.
However, it seems as if Bielsa and the Leeds hierarchy are not done just yet - here are the very latest transfer rumours on Leeds.
Leeds in Gvardiol advanced talks
Leeds are in advanced talks to sign Dinamo Zagreb defender Josko Gvardiol, according to Football Insider.
The report says that the Whites are confident they can make the 18-year-old their second defensive addition of this window.
Gvardiol is a centre-back, but he can also comfortably slot in at left-back, as Bielsa looks for more defensive options.
Leeds have been in negotiations with Zagreb since last month and both parties are confident a deal can be agreed.
Talks ongoing for De Paul deal
Leeds are still in talks over a deal for Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, according to the Athletic, via TEAMTalk.
De Paul is a 'serious' target for the Whites, and according to reports in Italy, Leeds officials held talks with Udinese owner Gino Pozzo recently.
The Argentine has been at the Italian side for four years so far, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2024.
However, Leeds could face competition for the 26-year-old’s signature, with Juventus also reportedly keen.
Kent transfer claim
Former Rangers boss Alex McLeish believes Ryan Kent could still be persuaded to move to the Premier League amid reported interest from Leeds.
Kent has been heavily linked with a move to Elland Road this summer as Bielsa looks to add more attacking options to his squad.
McLeish told Football Insider: "There’s always a price, there’s no doubt about that, there’s always a price and you know the Premier League, it’s powerful.
“We were talking about everyone being bankrupt after COVID-19, but the prices are still getting bandied about and if the ante goes up, there will obviously be a melting point that Rangers would probably find difficult to refuse."
