Leeds United's summer transfer window is set to be an active one, if Victor Orta's recent media outings are anything to go by.
The Whites' director of football indicated he hoped to have all new additions at the club by July 1st, in order to give them each a good run at pre-season training under the incredibly demanding Marcelo Bielsa.
Leeds' pre-season regime is set to be as strict as those in previous campaigns, as the team look to consolidate their place in the Premier League's top half, and retain their crown as the division's fittest side.
LeedsLive have compiled the latest transfer rumours concerning incomings and outgoings at Elland Road this summer.
'Negotiations' for Georgian winger
Leeds United have reportedly entered into negotiations for Georgian international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The 21-year-old Rubin Kazan winger was involved in 12 Russian Premier League goals last season and has been rated at around £20 million.
That said, a handful of Kvaratskhelia's agent's clients are Premier League players, suggesting there may be an element of agent involvement in trying to drive up his Khvicha's price.
Leeds United are known to be pursuing a permanent move for Jack Harrison this summer, which could well be the first transfer the Whites complete once the window opens.
Bringing in Kvaratskhelia would be competition for Harrison, but without any concrete reports, remains somewhat conjectural.
Cut-price deal in the offing for Nandez
Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez has been a long-term link to Leeds United over the past 12 months.
A constant stumbling block to this move has undoubtedly been a €36 million release clause, which made the Argentine unattainable.
"While he does have a €36m release clause in his contract, the belief is that those in charge of the Sardinia based club won’t ask for that much," a report in SportWitness states.
Supposedly, Cagliari would be willing to sell, but only if Leeds United can raise the funds to prise him away.
As yet, that figure remains undefined.
£2.5 million Colombian urged against European move
America de Cali forward Santiago Moreno has reportedly interested Southampton, Leeds United and Scottish Premiership champions Rangers ahead of this summer's transfer window.
Reservations have been made over the 21-year-old's experience, however, which could scupper any move to the Premier League, or Europe altogether.
Futbolete claim Moreno is not yet ready to 'fly the nest', but the club may not be able to turn down offers in excess of £2.5 million.
