Leeds United have just under two days remaining to bring in any further signings.
Marcelo Bielsa has been a busy man over the last few months, as he has strengthened his squad following the side’s promotion.
What a start it’s been for the Whites, whose draw yesterday evening against Manchester City, was the side’s seventh point from four games.
Here are the latest Leeds transfer rumours.
Whites linked with £13.5m bid for midfielder
Leeds have made a £13.5m offer to Levante for their midfielder Jose Campana, according to Spanish outlet El Desmarque.
After failing to agree a deal with Bayern Munich for Michael Cuisance, the Whites have now turned their attention to Campana.
Bielsa’s side have reportedly offered €15m (plus €3m in add-ons), but are not confident they can agree a deal in time, with just two days remaining.
Campana has played in England before, having a spell at Crystal Palace during the 2013-14 season.
Leeds table offer for striker
Leeds have ‘tabled an offer’ for Rennes forward Raphinha to try and bolster the side’s offensive options, according to Goal.
Patrick Bamford has been in fine form so far this season, and Rodrigo Moreno scored his first goal in the Whites’ draw with Manchester City yesterday.
However, Bielsa isn’t content, it seems, and the club are preparing an offer to the French side for the Brazilian forward.
Derby County also hold an interest in the 23-year-old, and with Rennes open to selling the striker, he could be on the move in the final days of the window.
Watford interested in Leeds defender
Watford are interested in signing Leeds defender Barry Douglas this summer, according to Football Insider.
There are only eight months remaining of Douglas’ current contract at Elland Road, meaning he may be available for transfer before the window shuts.
The report states that the Hornets are preparing for a last-minute move for the 31-year-old Scotland international.
Douglas has not been involved in all four of Leeds’ Premier League matchday squads this season so far.
