Leeds United transfer rumours: Celtic fear over Odsonne Edouard, Luiz Felipe deal put on hold

We are just over two weeks away from the start of the new Premier League campaign.

Leeds United fans will no doubt be counting down the days in excited anticipation at seeing their side back in action in the top flight.

The Whites have already grabbed attention with some of their transfer business this summer but they continue to be linked with a host of players.

Premier League new season in numbers

With that in mind, here are the latest Leeds transfer rumours.

Celtic fear over Edouard

The Scottish Sun report that Celtic are growing concerned that Odsonne Edouard may quit the club after interest from clubs like Leeds United.

Premier League new season in numbers

Celtic crashed out of the Champions League with a disappointing defeat to Hungarian side Ferencvaros.

Whilst Celtic are not under any pressure to sell their players due to the defeat, it is claimed that Edouard's agents are aware of the increased interest in the player.

Leeds are reported to be keen on the 22-year-old along with Leicester City, Everton, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.

Felipe deal on hold

The Athletic's Phil Hay says that Leeds United have invested too much time in Robin Koch to also target Luiz Felipe.

Leeds were yesterday credited with a shock move for the highly-rated Lazio defender who has also been linked to Barcelona and PSG.

Yet with the Whites closing in on Freiburg defender Robin Koch it seems unlikely that they will also go after Felipe.

Milinkovic-Savic enquiry

Sticking with Lazio, Ilmessaggero reports that the Whites have made enquiries over a host of players in the Italian capital.

Jordan Lukaku, Luis Alberto and Ciro Immobile have also been linked with moves to Leeds.

Remarkably, however, it is claimed that the Whites made an audacious attempt to enquire about Sergej Milikovic-Savic's availability.

Yet Lazio made it clear that they had no intention of selling the gifted midfielder.
