Leeds United transfer rumours as Whites target Kalvin Phillips alternative with relegated star

Leeds United have one transfer done so far this summer with Tyler Roberts signing a new three-year contract, now the club are pushing ahead with their external recruitment.

Victor Orta is keen to get as many bodies through the door before the start of pre-season as possible, to prepare new additions for Marcelo Bielsa's gruelling fitness work.

That means a glut of transfer links are likely to arise, many of which with be nothing more than a rumour - but somewhere in the middle there is likely to be some truth to one or two names.

Noa Lang update

Leeds United are back on the trail on Noa Lang, according to the latest reports.

The Belgian was a name that was touted for a switch to Elland Road earlier in the window, which has now been reinforced by the claims on transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist states that Lang is on the Whites' shortlist, whilst Marcelo Bielsa is close to formally agreeing a new contract.

Leeds target Fulham ace

Leeds United have their eyes set up on Fulham midfielder Harrison Reed as a potential understudy to Kalvin Phillips.

The 26-year-old joined the Cottagers on a permanent deal from Southampton last summer and made 31 appearances as Scott Parker's side were relegated back to the Championship.

The Daily Mail report that Leeds are monitoring his situation at Craven Cottage ahead a potential transfer.

Mujica deal on hold

Leeds United outcast Raja Mujica's future remains unknown after the latest reports state that talks have haltered for the striker to return to Las Palmas.

Mujica spent last season on loan with the Spanish club but hopes of a return have hit the stumbling blocks.

La Provincia state the ‘negotiations are at a standstill’ for the Segunda División club to retain Mujica, Jesé, Eric Curbelo and Edu Espiau.
