Leeds United transfer rumours as Whites 'table offer' for Real Madrid star Carlo Ancelotti loves

Here are the Leeds United transfer rumours and gossip on Friday, April 28.

Leeds United 'table free offer' for Real Madrid star Carlo Ancelotti loves

Leeds United have reportedly tabled an offer to sign Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz on a free deal ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Whites have struggled going forward this season, with just one player reaching over five goals in the Premier League this season, that being top goalscorer Rodrigo.

But Diaz, who has played just 62 minutes of football this season for Los Blancos, is available due to his contract expiring at the end of the season and is on the Leeds wishlist according to Spanish outlet DefensaCentral.

Despite his lack of game time, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has previously hailed the 29-year-old following his involvement in a win over La Liga side Elche back in 2021, when he said: "He did a brilliant job. He showed great commitment, made a lovely assist for the first goal, he was decisive."

Leeds United handed potential boost on summer transfer target

Leeds United might have been handed a major boost in their quest to bid to secure AZ Alkmaar star Milos Kerkez in the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old left-back's father Sebastijan, who acts as his agent, has admitted that he'd love to see his son play in the Premier League, although he might prefer a move to La Liga.

"We want something a little different, I would prefer England, and Milos would prefer Spain,” he told Hungarian outlet M4Sport earlier this week.

"I think he is a tough player and England would be good for him from that point of view, but he prefers to support the Spanish, but we will see.

"We only have rudimentary conversations with the clubs, how he could play there, what is expected of him, things like that, just a normal conversation, we are not talking about a contract with anyone yet.

"Benfica would be great for him, I talked to them, but I hear them and 10 other teams as well. We want to select one or two teams and fix everything with them, but I’ll say it again, we’re very happy here too."
