Leeds United transfer rumours as Weston McKennie attracts other suitors amid Whites option

Here are your latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Tuesday, February 27.

Weston McKennie interest

Leeds midfielder Weston McKennie is subject to interest from rival suitors, according to journalist Dean Jones.

McKennie joined Leeds from Juventus on loan with an option to buy in January and has made four starts since arriving at Elland Road.

However, Jones has revealed that there is other interest in McKennie, which could potentially hamper Leeds' chances of converting his loan into a permanent deal in the summer.

Jones told Give Me Sport: "I mean, there's still other interest out there for him, but if Leeds turn the corner and Gracia puts him at the centre of the project, I think it could actually still turn out well."

Diego Llorente minutes

Leeds United loanee Diego Llorente 'deserves a glimpse of visibility' after suffering from a lack of game time at AS Roma, according to Roma Giallorossa.

Llorente joined Serie A outfit Roma on loan from Leeds on transfer deadline day in January, but has been reduced to just one-minute of action under Jose Mourinho.

The Spaniard has been left on the bench in five of his six games for Roma across all competitions.

The report adds that Llorente could be provided with an opportunity to showcase his quality, as he aims to find 'the right team for next season'.

Roma have an option to buy Llorente at the end of the season, although his future remains uncertain following his difficult start to life in Italy.
