Leeds United transfer rumours as trio 'set to leave' if the Whites fail to avoid the drop

Here are your latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Sunday, March 12.

Meslier, Koch and Harrison 'set to leave' if Leeds United fail to avoid the drop

Robin Koch, Illan Meslier and Jack Harrison are all expected to leave Leeds United if they fail to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

That is according to Football Insider, who claim the trio are planning to quit the club if Leeds are playing in the Championship next season.

However, it was reported earlier this week that Koch has informed the club to refuse any approaches from other clubs amid interest from Newcastle United.

Leeds resisted an approach for Harrison from Leicester City in January, and also reportedly rejected bids from Newcastle back in the summer.

Illan Meslier has also been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, including Manchester United and Chelsea.

Mateusz Klich 'could be joined' by former Leeds target

Former Leeds midfielder Mateusz Klich could be joined by Lewis O'Brien, who was previously a target for the Whites before he joined Nottingham Forest back in the summer.

Leeds had tried to sign O'Brien from Huddersfield in the summer of 2021, and retained their interest in the January transfer window last year.

However, O'Brien moved to Nottingham Forest for a fee of £10 million, and the 24-year-old has had a difficult start to life at the City Ground.

He has made 17 appearances for Forest but lost his place in their 25-man Premier League squad following another spending spree during the winter transfer window.

A loan move to Blackburn Rovers fell through, and now the BBC have reported that he is set to join DC United on loan, with the MLS window closing on April 24.

Klich has made a promising start to life in the United States, and marked his debut with the opening goal as DC United defeated Toronto 2-0 at the Audi Field.
