Leeds United transfer rumours as Noa Lang and Lewis O'Brien updates received

With just 10 days left of the transfer window, Leeds United must act fast if they are to add any new faces to the squad.

Marcelo Bielsa stressed that he is happy with the players he has got at his disposal in his pre-Everton press conference but didn’t totally rule out more incomings.

It is no secret that the Whites are still interested in bringing in cover for Kalvin Phillips, if the opportunity presents itself, while links to wingers continue to emerge, in particular with Noa Lang.

With that in mind, here are the most recent Leeds United transfer rumours.

Noa Lang latest

Club Brugge boss Phillipe Clement has been speaking about Leeds United target Noa Lang amid transfer speculation.

Speaking in his pre-Beerscot press conference, Clement said: "Noa feels good here. I don't hear any rumours at the moment that there would be a different story, but you never know.

"Of course it will have to be for a lot of money. Because Club is ambitious And we keep raising the bar.”

Corberan delivers O'Brien latest

Huddersfield Town boss Carlos Corberan batted away questions about Lewis O'Brien's future, insisting the midfielder is focused on his current employers.

The 22-year-old has been widely linked with a move to Leeds United, with the Terriers confirming they have already rejected two bids from an unnamed club(s).

When asked about O’Brien’s transfer status ahead of Huddersfield's match against Sheffield United this weekend, Corberan said: "He continues to be one of our players and I continue to be focused on working with him and him helping the team.”

Niall Huggins departure

Niall Huggins has departed Leeds United for League One Sunderland in a permanent deal and ends a 12-year association with the Whites.

The 20-year-old leaves Elland Road with one senior appearance to his name, a substitute appearance during the 4-2 loss at Arsenal in February.

Huggins had two years remaining on a contract he signed last winter, but United have not clarified if a fee will be paid by the Black Cats.

Robbie Gotts, Bobby Kamwa, Jordan Stevens and Bryce Hosannah are the remaining players on the Leeds books expected to move on this month.
