Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Thursday, October 7.

Winks seeks loan move

Leeds United turned down an opportunity to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Winks this summer, according to the Athletic.

However, the Spurs midfielder is likely to be available on a loan deal in January as he is said to be pushing for a move to give his career a kick-start after a lack of appearances un Jose Mourinho and now Nuno Espiritio Santo.

The midfielder is said to have interest from multiple Premier League clubs but as Leeds did not make a signing in midfield during the summer and find themselves light in the position due to Adam Forshaw's continued injury issues, perhaps they will take a longer look at Winks if he is still on the market.

Whites 'reach agreement' with teenage star

Reports in Spain claim that Leeds have reached an agreement for 17-year-old Mateo Joseph Fernandez of Espanyol.

The teenage attacker has attracted interest from Barcelona in the past and is said to have a €1.5m release clause in his contract. Leeds have been known to spend these kinds of amounts on highly-rated youngsters in recent years.

Winger's agent speaks out

The agent of Georgian winger Kvicha Kvaratskhelia has spoken out about his client's links to Leeds United and other Premier League clubs as his named was touted around during the summer transfer window. He claims that the Georgian was priced was priced out of a move:

“They asked for €20million (£17m) because, in the spring, he was on fire. Everyone then shouted that any English team would buy him, given they were scattering €30million to €40million to the left and to the right.

“But, in fact, no-one took him. Now he plays badly. Now, no-one will pay more than €10 million to €12 million.”
