Leeds United transfer rumours as Marcelo Bielsa 'refuses' to respond to three new job offers

Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours and updates on Friday, September 30.

Marcelo Bielsa 'refuses' to answer three different clubs following job offers

A source from Brazilian club Santos' board has revealed that former Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa hasn't answered their call for a job offer, despite the side waiting over a week for a response.

The 67-year-old has been out of employment since leaving Leeds United in February after four seasons and was replaced by American manager Jesse Marsch.

According to Brazilian website UOL, Santos' board described the process of trying to hire Bielsa as 'hard, but we can keep dreaming'.

It's been reported that Santos have made lots of information and videos available to Bielsa in order to try and coax him into accepting one of their offers.

In the same report, it's claimed Bielsa has been approached by three more clubs that aren't from South America but no offers have been responded to by the Argentinian.

It's understood by UOL that Santos are offering Bielsa both a coaching role alongside being the club's director of football - allowing him to have almost full control of the professional and grassroots teams with his assistants.

Everton January move for Leeds Bundesliga target 'immediately rejected'

Everton's move for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada has been almost instantly rejected after the player has reportedly 'no interest of a move to Goodison Park'.

The 26-year-old Japanese star has been in top form to start the season, but a contract dispute with his German club means he could wait to see his deal run out at the start of next summer.

Leeds are just one of many clubs who are interested in Kamada, which also includes Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur but both sides have seen their own summer transfers flourish this season.

German outlet BILD has claimed that Everton are planning a 'sizeable offer' to tempt Frankfurt into selling the Japanese international. However, they also claim a move for Kamada is 'out of the question' in January after Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche said: "For us, it is not a goal to give away key players in the winter break. We want to keep our key players," when asked about the situation.

If there is the possibility of getting Kamada on a free deal, instead of the £13 million price tag originally given to him earlier this year, the Whites will certainly look to pounce on that instead.
