Georginio Rutter 'shed bitter tears' over Leeds United move amid Hoffenheim exit
According to German outlet Kicker, Leeds United's January signing Georginio Rutter did not actually want to join the Whites and 'shed bitter tears' at the thought of moving away from Hoffenheim.
The report claims that the 20-year-old had to be reassured that it was the right move by an advisor but has struggled since arriving at Elland Road.
The Frenchman is yet to score for Leeds since moving from the Bundesliga outfit, but will need to find his shooting boots soon if he wants to continue getting minutes under new boss Javi Gracia.
Rutter's time at Leeds certainly hasn't be free of drama having already played under three different managers at Elland Road, no doubt another roadblock he's come across since moving to England.
But the report claims that Rutter was in a 'sad state of mind' before making the move, which could potentially be a reason as to why he's been slow to open his account for the Whites.
Leeds United 'monitoring' Kieran Tierney Arsenal situation amid possible exit
Leeds United are believed to be keeping tabs on Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney after the Scottish international has fallen down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta this season.
The 25-year-old is reportedly pushing for an exit from the Emirates and has been linked with moves to Newcastle United and Brighton, but is now said to be in the scopes of Leeds.
Crystal Palace and Fulham are two other clubs mentioned that are looking at bringing the star on board, who was a regular under Unai Emery and Arteta in his early days with the Gunners, before losing out to Oleksandr Zinchenko.
