Leeds United transfer rumours as ex-Whites star dismisses reported Raphinha price

Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours from across the web.

Robinson dismisses reported Raphinha price

There have been rumours about Leeds' star forward, Raphinha moving on from Elland Road throughout the season.

The player himself has always stated that he's happy at Elland Road and even said he wanted to play in the Champions League with Leeds during the international break. However, his form has been so good whilst Leeds have struggled in the league that rumours are bound to fly.

In some reports, Raphinha's price has been quoted at £40 million which is way below what ex-Leeds goalkeeper, Paul Robinson feels the club would ask for:

"He’s worth double that. He’s worth double £40million, without a doubt," he told MOT Leeds News.

"You see every week that it’s not what Raphinha gives you on the ball but it’s also what he gives you off the ball as well. He’s a top-quality player and I’ve got no doubt he’d fit in with a top-four club in this country or any other league in Europe.

"£40million would be a huge undersell and I don’t think Leeds would come to the table for any bid. But it would have to begin with an eight, at least, to tempt Leeds."

Reported Leeds target linked with Juventus

One of the midfielders which Leeds were regularly linked to over the summer was FC Midjtylland's Jens Cajuste. In fact, it was reported in some foreign news outlets that the Whites bid £11 million for the Swedish international.

Should Leeds want to go back for the 22-year-old, they may now face competition from Juventus, according to word from Italy.

There are reports that the Italian giants want to freshen up their midfield options and they see Cajuste's energetic ball-carrying ability as a way of doing so.

Elland Road mooted as possible destination for Spurs defender

Welsh international centre back, Joe Rodon has struggled for game time this season, prompting talk of a loan move.

Asked about the idea, former Spurs man, Graham Roberts told This Is Futbol that he felt a move to Leeds, "will make him grow up and make him become a better player.”
