Leeds United transfer rumours as Charlie Cresswell addresses future amid Millwall loan spell

Here are your latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Saturday, March 11.

Charlie Cresswell addresses future

Charlie Cresswell insists he is fully focused on his loan spell at Millwall and that his future at Leeds United will take care of itself.

The Leeds loanee has experienced a turbulent time at The Den, but has been restored to the starting XI in recent weeks as the Lions continue to intensify their Championship play-off push.

Cresswell was subject to interest from a number of clubs in January, including Sunderland, Stoke City, and Coventry City. He had even reportedly reached an agreement with Coventry, only to change his mind late in the window.

The England under-21 international has reminded everyone of his affiliation with Leeds, but is only concentrating on proving his worth under Gary Rowett at this stage.

“Everyone knows I’m a Leeds fan,” he told the South London Press. “It’s about focusing on what I can do for Millwall now. The rest will just take care of itself.”

Leeds target Che Adams linked with Southampton exit

Leeds target Che Adams could leave Southampton in the summer with a number of clubs plotting a potential move for him, according to Di Marzio journalist Mo Ibrahim.

The Whites, who have been long-time admirers of the Scotland international, are reportedly among the clubs keeping a close eye on his situation.

Ibrahim tweeted: "Che Adams could leave Southampton in the summer with many clubs eyeing a potential move for him.

"Among the clubs is Leeds who have kept an eye on him and have had him on their list for many years."

Southampton rejected an offer from Leeds in 2020 for Adams, which was believed to be a loan fee plus the option to make the deal permanent for £20 million.

Adams has scored 30 goals in 139 appearances since joining Southampton in 2019, but has only found the net four times in 22 outings in the Premier League this term.

Ex-Leeds academy midfielder Robbie Gotts pens new Barrow deal

Former Leeds midfielder Robbie Gotts has extended his stay at League Two outfit Barrow until the summer of 2025.

Gotts graduated from Leeds' academy and played twice for the first team during their Championship title-winning season under Marcelo Bielsa.

His spell at Elland Road largely consisted of loan spells elsewhere, and he eventually confirmed his departure by joining Barrow in 2021.

He marked his first season with three goals in 39 appearances, and has once again been a regular for the Bluebirds. As a result, the 23-year-old has penned a new deal.

"I'm really happy to get the deal done and over the line," Gotts told the club's website. "I feel like the club has helped me develop as a player and I’m looking forward to keeping on progressing here at Barrow.

"I’m really excited, as I can see the progress the Club is making, even in the short time I’ve been here, and I want to be a part of that."
