Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Friday, 7 October 2022.
Okafor race
Leeds United are set to face stiff competition from AC Milan for Red Bull Salzburg striker Noah Okafor. That’s according to Calciomercato, who claim that Milan are hot on the trail of Okafor but Leeds also hold a strong interest.
The 22-year-old has been in red hot form for the Austrian champions this season, scoring eight goals in 14 matches, including three in the Champions League. Leeds were keen on adding a new first team striker to their ranks in the summer and it is unclear whether the late arrival of Wilfried Gnonto will change that stance.
Pulisic
Former Liverpool defender and pundit Jamie Carragher has said he's "very worried" about Leeds United January transfer target and Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic. The American was left on the bench for the full 90 minutes of the Blues' 3-0 Champions League win and both Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz looked good acting as wingers.

Pulisic fell down the pecking order under former manager Thomas Tuchel and was promised a new future under Graham Potter but has played just 12 minutes under the former Brighton boss. Speaking on CBS Sports' Champions League Show, Carragher admitted he believes the most the 24-year-old can get is limited minutes due to the amount of attacking players at Stamford Bridge.
“Where we have been for the last two years, in terms of his Chelsea career. Of course, the manager at Chelsea changes quite a lot. You always think, ‘okay, you are going to have a new chance to prove something and play differently’.
“But we haven’t seen much of him already and it’s early days for Graham Potter. Tuchel didn’t use him too much. The new manager, certainly during these early games, so I think it’s a little worrying for Americans, in terms of the World Cup.”
