Leeds United transfer rumours: Alioski new deal talks, De Paul linked with European giants

It was a big summer transfer window for Leeds United, as Marcelo Bielsa and the club's board looked to put the side in the best possible position for their first season back in the Premier League.

The Whites made eight new signings in total, as the influx of players continue to settle in at Elland Road.

Despite a very busy window over the summer, Bielsa could be tempted to have a look again in January to see if there's any other areas of the squad that can be bolstered.

Here are the latest Leeds-related transfer stories.

Does Bielsa enjoy the January transfer window?

Whites interested in Henderson move

Leeds "may look at" signing Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson on a loan deal in January, according to The Sun (via MOT Leeds News ).

The report states that the Whites and Premier League rivals Brighton & Hove Albion are both interested in signing Henderson.

The 23-year-old spent the last two seasons on loan at Sheffield United, and caught the eye at Bramall Lane, but has struggled to get into the Man United team so far during this campaign.

The England international has featured just three times in all competitions for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

Whites open talks over Alioski deal

Leeds are expected to agree a new contract with Ezgjan Alioski, according to a report on The Athletic.

The report states that "an agreement is expected" between the two parties, with Alioski's deal currently due to expire at the end of the season.

The North Macedonia international played an integral part in Bielsa's side's promotion to the Premier League during the last campaign.

Alisoki has the ability to play in a wide range of positions at Elland Road, making him a very useful player to have in the squad.

Inter plot move for Leeds target

Inter Milan are planning a move for reported Leeds target Rodrigo De Paul, according to Corriere dello Sport (via Team Talk ).

The Argentine midfielder - who plays for Udinese - was heavily linked with a move to Elland Road throughout the summer.

However, if this report from Italy is to be believed, then Inter could be planning a bid for the €35m-rated central midfield player.

The 26-year-old has scored once and assisted the same amount in seven Serie A appearances so far this season.
