Leeds United are back in Premier League action this evening, as they welcome Wolves to Elland Road.
The Whites have enjoyed a strong start to life back in the top-flight, boosted by their impressive summer transfer business.
However, with the window now closed, they will have to wait until January for any more dealings.
Here are the latest Leeds-related transfer stories.
Leeds star wanted by Premier League duo
Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips is a wanted man - with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur both after the England international.
That’s according to The Sun (via Metro ), who claim that the Reds and Spurs have been very impressed with the fine form Phillips has shown in the Premier League this season.
The 24-year-old’s performances have been so good that he was called up to England for the first time and he did very well in the four matches he’s featured in.
Liverpool and Tottenham will continue to ‘monitor’ the Leeds-born central midfielder and could make a move next summer, the report states.
Leeds warned over Sibley move
Kevin Phillips believes Derby County would only accept ‘silly money’ for Leeds-linked Louie Sibley.
Speaking to Football Insider , the former Rams coach spoke about Sibley - who was linked with a move to Elland Road before the domestic-only window closed a few days ago.
Phillips said: “My advice would be for Louie Sibley to play and develop. If he has another good season in the Championship he would certainly get a move to a big, big club at the end of the season.
“I think it would take silly money. If Derby are serious about challenging for promotion, they cannot be losing Sibley.”
Luis opens up on Leeds snub
Leeds’ summer target Florentino Luis has explained why he never moved to Yorkshire and instead chose Monaco.
There were several links back in June that the ex-Benfica midfielder was a target for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
However, a deal never materialised and Luis has now opened up on his move to the French top-flight.
Speaking to TVI24, Luis said: “There were several clubs interested in me, but from the moment Monaco spoke to me, I decided that I wanted to come here. Monaco is a great club, with great players and that has a great history in France.”
