Leeds United fans are counting down the days until their long-awaited Premier League return, as they eagerly prepare themselves for top-flight football.
Marcelo Bielsa has already started to assemble his squad for the 2020/21 season, making a number of signings to improve his squad.
Plenty of further additions are also on the cards and a host of names have been linked with a move to Elland Road before the window closes on October 5.
Here we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding the Whites.
Arthur Cabral talks
Leeds United are locked in talks with Basel over a move for 22-year-old striker Arthur Cabral, according to Brazilian journalist Fernando Graziani.
In an update on his Twitter account, Graziani said, “Brief update on Arthur Cabral’s possible move to the Premier League. Basel want €20m but Leeds think it’s too much.”
He said that Leeds have tabled an upfront offer of £13.5m (€15m) but said that could go down if performance bonuses increase.
Joe Bryan eyed
Leeds United have joined the hunt for Fulham defender Joe Bryan and have received encouragement for a move, Football Insider states.
Fulham are closing in a deal to sign Antonee Robinson from Wigan Athletic, which could trigger a domino effect in the market.
Leeds have already signed Cody Drameh from the Cottagers but are on the hunt for a left-back.
Nicolas Gonzalez battle
Leeds United are going toe-to-toe in the transfer market with Brighton for the services of Stuttgart's Nicolas Gonzalez, the Guardian's Ed Aarons has stated on social media.
The Argentine is valued at around £15m by the German side, who won promotion to the Bundesliga last season, and is not short of suitors.
Interest from elsewhere in Germany and from Italian clubs has also been mentioned.
