With New Year's Day later this week, the January transfer window is just days away from opening.
For Leeds United, that represents a chance to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
The Whites are not always the most active team in the January transfer market but fans will no doubt be keen to see a repeat of their excellent summer window.
With that in mind, here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours.
Olise admission
Reading boss Velko Paunovic has admitted his side may have to sell Michael Olise in January.
AC Milan and Spurs are the latest clubs to have been linked with the attacking midfielder, with Leeds United also credited with an interest.
Speaking to the Reading Chronicle, Paunovic played down suggestions that the 19-year-old has an £8m release clause but admitted it was a possibility that the starlet could leave.
"I’m not aware of it. The most important thing for Michael is that he has found a place where he is being protected, supported, playing games more than ever and is being given opportunities," he said.
"I am confident. But, I’m also confident to tell you that you never know.
"Every single player is exposed to the market and to the teams that have needs so somebody may pull the trigger.
"Are we going to be affected by that? It is possible, but I am confident and I am working with him long-term."
Johnstone linked
The Sun report that Leeds United are keeping tabs on Sam Johnstone at West Bromwich Albion.
Johnstone has been in good form for the Baggies this season, topping the Premier League charts for saves made.
He is out of contract in 18 months time, meaning West Brom's hand may be forced if they receive an offer for the 27-year-old.
Brighton have also been linked to the former Manchester United keeper.
Daniel James interest
The Daily Star report that West Brom are eyeing up a move for Daniel James.
Leeds United have long been interested in the winger, being linked with him in the summer transfer window.
The Wales international eventually stayed at Manchester United but he has not been a regular this season.
That has lead to speculation over his future in January, and the Baggies are the latest club to be linked with a loan move.
