Leeds United are now just a few weeks away from finally bringing an end to their long wait for Premier League football and excitement is building.
Marcelo Bielsa has crafted an exciting side at Elland Road in his two years at the club and his work is expected to continue ahead of the top-flight campaign.
New signings will be necessary to deal with the rigours of Premier League football and a host of names have already been linked with a move.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest transfer rumours and gossip concerning the Whites.
Delph and Rose lined-up
Leeds are looking to sign Danny Rose and Fabian Delph ahead of their Premier League return, the Daily Star states.
The Whites are said to be targeting players with Premier League experience and the pair, who both started their careers at Elland Road, are being lined-up for a return to the club.
30-year-old Delph, now with Everton, and Spurs' Rose, who spent time on loan with Newcastle United last season, could both be interested in a return to Yorkshire.
Leeds are confident of striking a deal with the Toffees of around £5m for Delph, while Rose is entering the final 12 months of his Tottenham contract and would command a similar fee.
Ollie Watkins interest
Leeds United are interested in signing Brentford striker Phil Hay to bolster their attacking ranks for their Premier League return, the Athletic's Phil Hay states.
The highly-rated forward has struck 25 goals in the Championship campaign and a deal may hinge on Brentford's fate in next week's playoff final against Fulham.
“At the top end of Bielsa’s team, Leeds see several options in the Championship which would fit nicely,” Hay has said.
“They rate Brentford’s Ollie Watkins — the division’s second-highest scorer this term with 25 regular-season goals, behind Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic — and see qualities in him which would suit Bielsa’s tactics: strong link-up play, slick finishing and a clear contribution to a high expected goals figure."
Whites target Florenzi deal
Leeds have joined the race to sign Roma right-back Alessandro Florenzi, according to reports.
The Italian has fallen out-of-favour in the Italian capital and was sent out on loan to Spanish giants Valencia back in January.
With Roma ready to offload him this summer, it is claimed that Whites chief Bielsa would be open to bringing him to England for the first time in his career.
