Leeds United appear to have signalled their Premier League intent after Valencia confirmed that a fee had been agreed for star Rodrigo.
Yet there is plenty more business to be done ahead of next month's Premier League kick-off.
With that in mind, here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours.
Ryan Kent latest
Noel Whelan has said that Rangers could consider a £14m offer for Ryan Kent.
Leeds United are keen on the winger and have seen an £8.5m bid for him turned down already.
Yet, speaking to Football Insider, Whelan revealed it would not take much more for the Gers to consider selling - even if losing Kent would represent a big blow.
He said: “A £14million bid would be tempting to Rangers, they would have a look at that I am sure.
"But they are a big club and they want to win the title. Steven Gerrard needs Ryan Kent so they will dictate the fee for this player. He is under contract. It would be a big blow to lose him.
"How would you replace him? They may have to pay more money to get a player on a similar level. You could pay less but it would be a risk because that player needs to make a difference throughout the season."
Defender identified
Sportlens report that Leeds have identified Torino defender Lyanco as a target.
The 23-year-old has impressed in Serie A, leading to interest from the likes of PSV and Bologna.
Leeds are looking to improve their defensive options after failing to seal a permanent deal for Ben White.
Lyanco would be available for around €15m.
Eberechi Eze blow
The Telegraph report that Eberechi Eze is nearing a move to Crystal Palace.
QPR star Eze had been on the radar of Leeds but the Hoops have now agreed a deal with Crystal Palace.
Palace have already had one bid turned down for the talented attacker but an offer of £19.5m is said to have been enough to got a deal over the line.
The transfer is expected to be completed in the coming days.
