Wober deal 'agreed'
Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed Maximilian Wober to Leeds is a done deal. The Austrian international was signed by Jesse Marsch for Red Bull Salzburg in 2019.
Reports suggest United will pay around £10million to land centre-back, who has won three Austrian titles. Romano tweeted: “Leeds are closing in on a deal to sign Maximilian Wober from RB Salzburg, here we go!

“Agreement in place on both player and clubs side. Exclusive news confirmed. Understand paperwork is being prepared, final fee will be in excess of €12million."
Adams could leave Saints
GiveMeSport are reporting that Southampton could sell Che Adams this month amid interest from Leeds. It is no secret that the Whites are short of options up front and the 26-year-old would provide Premier League experience in attack.
Sitting rock-bottom of the table is hardly a position to think about offloading players. However, reporter Dean Jones believes signing a striker could open the door for Adams to move on.
“Southampton have got their own situation to consider at the moment,” he said. “If they do go and sign another striker, you never know. They might just put an inquiry in just to see what can be done.”
Swiss youngster linked
FC Luzern star Ardon Jashari is linked with a move to Leeds, according to Sky Germany. The 20-year-old broke into Switzerland’s World Cup squad, making just one substitute appearance.
A technically-gifted, deep-lying midfielder, Jashari only made his international debut in September. Many of Leeds’ midfield options have not been improved upon since the Championship-winning season three years ago.
A long-term deal until 2026 places no pressure on Luzern to cash in. Jashari has helped his side climb up to sixth in the Swiss Super League.
