Leeds United transfer demands reportedly delaying wantaway player's exit

Leeds United's demands for out-of-favour winger Hadi Sacko are reportedly preventing a deal being concluded for the 25-year-old's departure.

Turkish website Ajansspor report Leeds' want for a 'significant' fee for the Mali international is hindering progress of a potential permanent move to Denizlispor.

Sacko is out of the picture under Marcelo Bielsa and wasn't given a squad number last season.

He spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Las Palmas before moving to Turkish Super Lig side Ankaragucu, again on loan.

Sport Witness add Denizlispor executive Ali Firat has said talks with Leeds are taking place, while it is being reported that personal terms are all-but-done between Denizlispor and Sacko.

Sacko joined Leeds four years ago on loan before making his stay at Elland Road permanent in 2017.

He has made 60 appearances for the Whites, netting three times and setting up four goals.

The winger scored three times in 15 matches for Ankaragucu, impressing in the Turkish top flight.

He is out of contract next summer.
