Former Liverpool and England striker Peter Crouch has identified Leeds United as the side that he believes will struggle the most in the Premier League without supporters in attendance.
The Whites played out a seven-goal thriller in their first top-flight match in 16 years on Saturday against Liverpool and welcome Fulham to Elland Road this weekend.
However, due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, matches are being played behind closed doors and, with restrictions across the country tightening this week, there is no clear indication when fans can expect to be back.
As a result, many teams will encounter different scenarios than they are used to and Crouch believes Leeds will be the side to miss their fans the most.
"Definitely Leeds. I played at Elland Road a few times and, I mean this in the most respectful sense, it was horrible," he told the Mail.
"The fans make it an ordeal for visiting supporters and I can remember the buzz there for Marcelo Bielsa's first match against Stoke two years ago.
"In the Premier League, the intensity would have been even greater and would have given them such a lift.
"It's hard to put a points tally on what their supporters would be worth but I can assure you a full Elland Road would make a positive difference."
