Leeds United told to go and sign Swansea City's Liverpool loan star

Alex Bruce has urged Leeds United to sign Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster.

The ex-Leeds defender believes the frontman - currently on loan with Swansea - has huge potential after starring in the early stages of his stint in South Wales.

And Bruce - who played for the Whites between 2010 and 2012 - says Brewster is exactly the kind of forward Leeds need to recruit.

“He’s definitely someone I would be looking at because they need goals," he told Football Insider.

“Signing someone like him is definitely something that would tickle any club in my opinion. He’s young, he’s hungry, he’s done alright at Swansea, he’s got big potential.

“Those are the sort of players they should be looking at.”

Brewster made his senior Liverpool debut against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup in September before featuring under Jurgen Klopp against Arsenal and Everton.

The 20-year-old has netted four goals in 11 Championship appearances for Swansea.
