We are a little over six weeks away until the January transfer window opens.
With the summer transfer deadline delayed until October, there is a quick turnaround in markets, giving clubs a fresh chance to land potential transfer targets.
For Leeds United, it is a chance to renew their interest in any targets they failed to sign in the summer alongside identifying new players to sign.
With that in mind, here is who the bookies think Leeds could sign in January.
Dean Henderson - 11/1
Illan Meslier has been in good form for Leeds United this season, winning praise for his performances against the likes of Sheffield United.
Yet the Whites lack depth in the goalkeeping position, with Kiko Casilla falling out of favour last season after a ban for racist language.
So it perhaps is no surprise that the Whites have the shortest odds on signing a goalkeeper.
Dean Henderson was in superb form on loan at Sheffield United last season and returned to Manchester United in search of a starting spot.
Yet his return has kicked David De Gea into performing at a higher level, leaving Henderson on the bench.
So could he be available in January? The Whites are third-favourites to sign the young goalkeeper in January, with Sheffield United, West Brom and Newcastle United all with shorter odds.
Ben White - 25/1
Another unsurprising name on the list is former loanee Ben White.
Leeds failed in their attempts to turn White's stay at Elland Road permanently in the summer when Brighton & Hove Albion resisted their attempts to strike a deal.
Instead, he returned to the Seagulls and has looked at home in the Premier League.
His odds of 25/1 represent that a deal is unlikely to happen in January, though.
Leeds secured other defensive targets in the summer after missing out on White, and Brighton have a high asking price for the 23-year-old.
Manchester United are also priced at 25/1, with Manchester City listed at 33/1.
Favourites are Liverpool, who became linked to White in the summer, with a defensive injury crisis perhaps heightening their need for a centre-back.
Dele Alli - 25/1
The third name on the list is Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Dele Alli.
Alli is out of favour under Jose Mourinho at Spurs and has struggled for form over the last 12 months.
He was linked with a loan move away from Spurs in the summer but eventually stayed put.
Yet there is likely to be interest in the England international in January, with his football having been limited to just six appearances so far this season.
PSG, who were interested in Alli in the summer, are favourites at 6/1, with Manchester United priced at 8/1.
Liverpool and Real Madrid are both given odds of 12/1 to sign Alli, with Everton, Leeds and Southampton all at 25/1.
Whilst it is difficult to see Alli fitting in with Leeds' high-energy style of play, the fact the Whites failed to land an attacking midfielder in the summer could well see them keeping tabs on the 24-year-old's availability.
