Ryan Kent tipped for transfer after switching agents
Kevin Phillips believes that Leeds may revisit the possibility of signing Ryan Kent after the Rangers winger swapped agents.
He believes that the change of representative could be a hint that the highly-rated Liverpool academy graduate will look to depart the Old Firm outfit in the coming months.
Kent has frequently been linked with Leeds in the past, while Rangers manager Steven Gerrard confirmed the club turned down a bid over the summer.
“We have seen it with players swapping agents before. There is a reason when a player swaps an agent,” Phillips told Football Insider.
“I am still with the same agent I was when I first started the game so the only reason you would swap agents is if you are not happy with them.
“If they are not doing what you ask them to do which could potentially be that he wanted to move in the summer.
“I am only second-guessing but there is never smoke without fire. There is always a reason a player changes agent so it would not surprise me if something was to materialise in the January window at Leeds or somewhere else.”
Thomas Partey injury news prompts confidence drop among Arsenal fans
Arsenal fans on social media have expressed concerns over how Mikel Arteta’s side will perform at Elland Road on Sunday in the absence of marquee summer signing Thomas Partey.
The £45million deadline day recruit from Atletico Madrid had to be withdrawn in Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa a fortnight ago.
There had been hopes he’d return to bolster the Gunners midfield against Leeds, but Arteta confirmed he remains unavailable for Sunday’s match.
“Why do I have a feeling arsenal is gonna lose the weekend,” wrote one fan on social media. “No partey, no Elneny. Defo not watching the game.”

Arteta expecting ‘full gas’ from Leeds on Sunday
Arteta is one of few Premier League coaches that knows exactly what to expect from Bielsa’s Leeds, having faced them in the FA Cup last season.
The Spanish coach was new to the job when Leeds visited The Emirates for the third-round clash. He oversaw a 1-0 win, but his side were well-tested by the visitors, an experience he described as “like going to the dentist” after the match.
He’s expecting more of the same for Sunday’s rematch.
"They will go full gas like they always do and they have had two weeks to prepare for the game,” Arteta told reporters.
"They don’t have as many internationals as us and I don’t expect them to change too much.
"It doesn’t matter where they [Leeds] play, what I have seen from them in the last season, it is not a concern about who they play against, it is about what they do."
