Leeds United team news as Javi Gracia makes three changes to face Chelsea

Javi Gracia has made three changes to his Leeds United line-up to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon. The Whites could move four points clear if the relegation zone with a win in west London and they’ll be determined to pile the misery on their out-of-sorts rivals, who haven’t won in their last five Premier League games.

Patrick Bamford hasn’t travelled with the squad today and that means Georginio Rutter starts up front for Gracia. Rutter enjoyed his best game in a Leeds shirt in midweek at Fulham and he’ll be looking for his first goal for the club after keeping his spot in the side.

Max Wober and Pascal Struijk have travelled but only the Austrian makes the starting line-up. Wober dislocated his shoulder at Everton last month and precaution has been taken since.

As such, despite playing against Southampton last week, he missed the trip to Craven Cottage. Pascal Struijk hasn’t been seen since suffering concussion against Manchester United at Old Trafford, but he’s on the bench today.

Wilfried Gnonto only makes the bench after a run of 11 straight Premier League starts for United. Jack Harrison and Crysencio Summerville will be asked to provide the width in what looks like a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Marc Roca and Rasmus Kristensen also drop out after starting on Tuesday night.

Leeds United: Illan Meslier; Luke Ayling, Robin Koch, Max Wober, Junior Firpo; Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie; Jack Harrison, Brenden Aaronson, Crysencio Summerville; Georginio Rutter.

Bench: Joel Robles, Rasmus Kristensen, Pascal Struijk, Sam Greenwood, Darko Gyabi, Mateo Joseph, Wilfried Gnonto, Marc Roca., Archie Gray
